DOB: July 11, 1944

Lived in North Carolina since 1955 except for a short Navy career. I
spent six years in the Navy from 1965 to 1971. The Navy trained me
to operate nuclear reactors on submarines. I spent three years in schools
and then made six patrols on Fleet Ballistic Missile carrying Submarines.
Over a year in total time underwater.

I attended Univ of NC at Charlotte and received a degree in accounting.
I have been in public accounting since 1976 and am a partner in a local
Hickory firm.

Married to Kathy in 1969 and have two children.

I have been involved in PCA since since 1999 and have been Treasurer
two years. I drive a 1994 968 cabriolet, which I intend to sell when it hits
300,000 miles. It currently has 90,000 miles on it. I enjoy the social events
of the Region and have met some of my best friends because of PCA.
